Ivory Latta
led all scorers with 29 points and had five rebounds and two assists. Michelle Campbell had a double-double for Ceyhan with 13 points and 10 rebounds. (I don't know which Michelle Campbell this is - the one who played for USC? the one who played for Rutgers?) Hulya Özkan added 14 points.

Charel Allen (Sacramento Monarchs) would only add eight points. Tiffani Johnson, the ex-Tennessee player and cousin of Ivory Latta only scored six points but had 13 rebounds.

Allie Quigley, formerly out of DePaul University, led all scorers with 19 points. Olympia Scott, a WNBA player from 1998 to 2005, had 9 points and 11 rebounds for Mersin. Sariye Gokce had 14 points, and Mistie Williams (Houston Comets) picked up only 3 points in nine minutes of play.

Jamon Gordon, the 24-year-old Guard from Jacksonville, Florida will spend at least ten days with the Dragons, trying to land a contract. Gordon appeared in 27 games of the Turkish first league in this past season, averaging 10.8 points, 4.6 boards, 2.8 assists and 2.1 steals for Antalya Buyuksehir Belediye. In pre-season he was close to the Greek A1-outfit AS Trikalla 2000, but decided to leave for personal reasons.

Billy McDaniel led all scorers with 26 points to help keep his new team undefeated and tied with Etzella for the top spot in the DBBL. Patrick Arbaut and Jannick Tuffel also reached double figures in scoring with 22 and 13 points respectively. Martin Rajniak led T71 again with 23 followed by Tim Whitworth (198-G/F-81, agency: Court Side, college: Drexel) with 18, Bob Kieffer with 14. T71 drops its record to 1-2 and Black Star remains unblemished on the young season at 3-0. No other stats are available yet for the match. T71 has to travel to Etzella next Sunday and Black Star will host Sparta in an interesting matchup on Saturday, October 25th in Mersch.
